What exactly is Beaujolais Nouveau? It’s a wine annually produced from the Gamay Noir grape in the Beaujolais region of France, and is made for immediate release on the third Thursday of November as a party wine to celebrate the end of harvest.
To celebrate the end of our own fall harvest, we’re throwing a Brooklyn Nouveau party all evening on Thursday, November 15. Our winemaker Conor McCormack used 2012 Zinfandel grapes to create a limited edition “nouveau” style wine that we’re calling Brooklyn Nouveau, and it's the only Nouveau style on our menu for the night. We've only produced a small amount of this wine, so come on in and try it while it lasts!
Can’t wait to sample a preview of Brooklyn Nouveau? Get your tickets for "The Down Low on Beaujolais Nouveau: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know" class, which will take place on Wednesday, November 14 at 8:00pm.
