Two people find themselves at a crossroads in life after suffering family tragedies in director Sallie Aprahamian's emotionally-charged drama BROKEN LINES.
Jake (Dan Fredenburgh, THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM, EMMA) is a successful Jewish man living with his fiancé, Zoe (Olivia Williams, AN EDUCATION, RUSHMORE). When his father dies, Jake returns to his old neighborhood, and strikes up a casual friendship with a waitress involved with an incapacitated ex-boxer named Chester (Paul Bettany, A BEAUTIFUL MIND, THE DA VINCI CODE), who relies on her for his care. Jake and the waitress struggle with the anxiety and guilt caused by their mutual attraction, and the potentially devastating consequences of their actions. They must consider the effect of causing pain to their significant others against the prospect that this relationship may be their only chance for finding true happiness.
