British Folk Duo Andrew Marcus and Glyn Collinson in Concert
A Benefit Performance for the Washington Revels

Join the newly celebrated British folk duo, Andrew Marcus and Glyn Collinson, for an energetic evening of folk music with attitude. Lively songs! Stompin’ tunes! It's an evening of 100% proof, 21st Century British Roots music from this exciting pair, as heard most recently at the Washington Folk Festival.

Glyn Collinson is a recent arrival from Britain who brings with him a rich tradition of songs and tunes stretching back to his great-great-great grandfather, Joseph Taylor; some of Taylor’s songs will appear for the first time this evening in brand-new arrangements. He has played with Waterfront, Frog Hammer, and Jennifer Cutting's Ocean Orchestra. Andrew Marcus has played with Frog Hammer and Giant Robot Dance, as well as dancing with the Foggy Bottom Morris Men.
