Bringing Art to Life December 4, 2008

Educator Workshop Elementary teachers, learn new strategies for incorporating paintings, photographs, sculpture, and works on paper from the Carter’s collection into your curriculum. Bring art to life as you explore themes such as animals in art, cowboy culture, and looking at landscapes through art-making, writing, and visual activities. This workshop connects to elementary levels of language arts, social studies, and visual art and will be presented in part by the Carter’s 2008 Innovative Teaching Fellow, Sheri Merritt. $12 for museum members and $15 for nonmembers.
