In a homemade tour video, Brilliant Red Lights leap off the monitors in front of a 2,000-person high school rally, snap a guitar against the drumset, bleed on and lick their instruments, windmill their arms, and share the stage with dancing fans. They also sled down a frozen mountain in Washington on their merchandise board, cruise the Vegas strip, and put thousands of miles on their Astro van. The video is a testament to the bands love of touring and penchant for putting on memorable and energetic live shows in every city they touch.
BRL is a Sacramento trio consisting on Aaron Davidson (vocals, guitar), Evan Michalski (bass, vocals) and Noah Clark (drums). They practice every day. They practice like they play: sweating and leaping off the walls. After practice they book shows. At the shows, they play hard and write their set lists on their arms with Sharpies. On stage, they have a sign facing the audience that says You Look Great Today. They mean it. At the end of the set, they shout with the audience their album-closing mantra: make sure you love it and you touch like you want it.
