Dr. Synthia SAINT JAMES is a world-renowned visual artist whose art is able to capture the essence of life in color. SAINT JAMES’ paintings have graced the covers of more than 70 books, including those by Pulitzer Prize winning author Alice Walker and New York Times best-selling authors Iyanla Vanzant and Terry McMillan.
SAINT JAMES was the designer of the first United States Postal stamp for the Kwanzaa holiday. Another of her architectural designs graces the elevator doors of the State of California Public Health building in Sacramento, CA. Additionally, she is the National Ambassador of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure’s “Circle of Promise” campaign to fight breast cancer.
