After a relatively quiet 2006, the Conor Oberst-led indie rock band Bright Eyes is gearing up for a new album and has announced a handful of shows in North America. Bright Eyes is coming out with the "Four Winds" EP in March, and whetting fans' appetite for the band's sixth full-length record "Cassadaga." In this record, Oberst diaries his travels around the country and articulates his sense of history in the landscape. Cassadaga is slated for an April 10th release.
Tagged "rock's boy genius" by the music press, Conor Oberst continues to earn his reputation as our most respected young troubadour with almost frightening ease.
