In this homage to the Abraham Lincoln Brigade veterans of the Spanish Civil War, ALBA presents never-before-seen work by Robert Capa and David "Chim" Seymour, pioneers of modern war photography, from the "Mexican Suitcase," three cardboard boxes containing 128 rolls of Spanish Civil War images that were long thought to have been lost forever. A little over a year ago, this "holy grail of war photography" was turned over to the International Center of Photography, which is allowing ALBA to share some of these images.
