Hip Hop Collective's 2nd Annual BRIDGIN DA GAP at the Red Barn in Hampshire College $2 at the door. featuring legendary Dj Mista Sinista (from Xecutioners); and Pioneer Valley's own 5th Pro Djs: Dj Gibbs, Dj Henry C; Dj Dougy Doug. This night will be a night where the legend meets the new crop in hip hop. A night to remember! So come through!!!!

About Hip Hop Collective:

Hip Hop Collective is an organization based out of Hampshire College and was born September 2006 in an effort to bring local/national hip hop communities together: performance artists (deejays, emcees, bgirls/bboys, poets), visual artists (graffitti artists/muralists), multimedia artists, cultural workers/community activists to share the essence of what is a hip hop culture and not one that has become so monopolized by white media. Hip Hop Collective event themes include: Hip Hop World Graffiti party, and Two Turntables and a Mic party (Fall Semester); La Femme Expression showcase, and Bridgin Da Gap Dj party (Spring Semester). Hip Hop Collective strives to integrate students of Hampshire College with surrounding communities to network and build new sustainable relationships in an effort to provide a model of bridging gaps between educational institutions and the people at large.
