Bria Skonberg and Evan Arntzen April 4, 2011

Canadian jazz musicians Bria Skonberg (trumpet) and Evan Arntzen (clarinet) will perform as part of the Sidney Bechet Society season of traditional, hot jazz from the ’20s, ’30s, and ’40s. Skonberg makes her New York City debut as band leader in the opening concert. At 27 years old, she has received numerous awards including the CBC Jazz Award of Merit and the coveted Kobe Jazz Street Friendship Award.
