Come savor the suds of America’s finest microbreweries at the first annual BrewFest at Mount Hope on the ground of the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. The beer will flow on Saturday, May 9 with two tasting sessions from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Up to 50 different breweries will be in attendance offering free samples of their finest ales. Save room for the mouth-watering American, Irish, and German cuisine buffets, which is included in the price of admission. Other activities include musical entertainment featuring live bands, a keynote speaker highlighting how to sample and recognize outstanding beers, an automated “Ride-the-Keg” rodeo-style ride, tours of the onsite Swashbuckler Brewing Company, and cooking with beer demonstrations. All guests must be 21 years or older to attend. Designated driver tickets are also available at a discounted price.
