Brent Malin is a singer-songwriter currently living and performing in Northern California. Born in Kansas, Brent's music reflects both a Midwestern sensibility and moral grounding, and a healthy skepticism towards the conservatism of the Bible belt. His songs explore complex themes in simple language while his guitar work draws on folk, country, blues and rock influences to create rootsy, down-home accompaniments for his equally rootsy reflections on everyday life.
