Burns style of comedy is known as very confrontational and aggressive behavior, but enthralls his audience in his outlandish performance. Subsequently he is known to have a controversial performance that can stir up the audience and make for a unique experience. He famously gave out Magic Mushrooms (then legal) to an entire audience at the Glastonbury festival as part of a documentary being filmed by friend and film maker Paul Provenza.
As well as being a comedian, Burns has had many gigs in television in the UK including Channel 4’s late-night spontaneous show, The Eleven O’Clock Show, starring along side Sacha Baron Cohen and Ricky Gervais. Burns also appeared as the presenter of the ITV show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and on ITV2’s Comedy Cuts as the conductor of master classes in stand-up.
Burns has released numerous comedy albums’ entitled, Buckets and Sulphur, Misspent Childhood, Not for Everyone, Brendon vs Burnsy, All My Love All My Rage and Sober not clean.
