Brendan Getzell: Featured Performer at 23 Club Open Mic!
Hey, I know this is late-notice, but this was just confirmed: I'll be playing a feature set at this Thursday's open mic at the historic 23 Club in Brisbane!
The open mic opens at 7, sign-up until 7:30 and music starts shortly after. I will be playing a feature set of aro...und 30 minutes at 10pm, after which the open mic will continue until the list is exhausted.
Should be a fun night, 23 Club is a fantastic venue, a true step back in time if a venue ever was one. Plus a certain pair of hosts - JJ Schultz and Jeff Cotton - always make sure a good time is had by all.
I encourage you to play the open mic too! You'll most likely get 3 songs and you'd get a chance to play a classic venue.
(You're also all welcome to kick my ass at pool after!)
