Notations 21 is a concert event celebrating music that explores the use of graphic score notation. There is a multimedia installation that will feature rare footage of John Cage, Halim El-Dabh shoowing how he paints with color notation and more. There will be a hands on Listening Station, and a projection of all images of the new book written by musicologist Theresa Sauer Notations 21 in celbration of John Cage's 40th Anniversary of the original Notations.

Great show...Going back on October 11. Interesting and exciting at the same time. Loved the film presentation as well as the performers. was packed. get there early.
