Brazilian Friday : Forro Night December 10, 2010

From the creators of Brazilian Day Arizona, comes a special event dedicated to the Brazilian Rhythms from the Northeast, known as FORRO!! Forro is the most popular genre in Brazil’s Northeast and the most incorporated style at the annual Festa Junina. BRAZILIAN FRIDAY will be our choice of party to get the holidays going and bringing friends, family and newcomers alike together for a great event. Headlining the event will be sao paulo’s favorite phoenix band, SOM BRASIL! Lead by Marcos Martins, Som Brasil will be playing Forro, with a little Samba and Axe. DJ Seduce, will be mixing through the airwaves with a variety of Brazilian beats to move your feat including Samba, Axe, MPB, Samba-Reggae, Pagode and Baile Funk. Not just music; Daniele Vosler will debut her trio of dance performers and will be showcasing some live dance performances mixing a variety of styles of Samba & Forro as well. We will be offering a free 30min - “Samba Class” for those who want to learn a few steps before the night gets Moving! The night wouldn’t be complete without a tasty drink to keep the night rolling, so we will be serving a special “Brazilian Mojito” as the drink of choice, made with “Leblon – Cachaca”, something a little different, tropical and very tasty!
