Brazilian Breeze: A warm Holiday Fundraiser for BrasArte December 3, 2011

Join us in celebrating the 11th anniversary of BrasArte and the 100th birthday of Brazilian composer Nelson de Cavaquinho.

Enjoy a tropical evening of Bossa Nova music and a delicious buffet of seafood, vegetable dishes, fruits and desserts, and a no host bar.

Musicians will include Celia Malheiros, guitarist Ricardo Peixoto, saxaphonist Zach Pitt-Smith, singer Ligia Waib and special guests as well as KPFA DJ Jose Ruiz.
