Brave Combo will hit the stage at Smoke restaurant, Belmont Hotel Complex, 901 Fort Worth Avenue, Dallas, TX on Saturday, December, 12, 2009 for a Christmas Extravaganza. And if the holidays weren’t enough of a reason to celebrate, Brave Combo’s newest release on Dentone Records, “Christmas Present” a live recording of the Texas based quintet’s legendary holiday show will be available for purchase at the show. “Christmas Present” has 15 Christmas favorites including We Three Kings Cha Cha Cha and Let It Snow Let It Snow Let It Snow Twist!
Brave Combo’s holiday celebration is like no other Christmas show. The band takes holiday favorites and infuses them with humor and arrangements that beg the audience to celebrate the season to be merry. From the band’s version of “Must be Santa” which was the inspiration for Bob Dylan’s much discussed cover version of the song in his recent release to “Christmas in July” which inspired a front page piece on the Wall Street Journal this past summer, Brave Combo offers holiday cheer in a style uniquely their own.
