In Brasil, everyone participates in samba, from grandparents to children. No matter their social status or race, it's the music of the people, a communal expression of the joy of life. Batucada is the name for the all-percussion ensemble that is unique to Brasil. Come learn all the elements of this exciting style, and try your hand at playing its variety of fun rhythm instruments. Our favorite kind of percussion music!
