The Whiskey River Band was formed in 1977, and has been entertaining country music fans in Wisconsin and surrounding states ever since. The success of their first two records, 'I'm Goin' to Heaven Tonight' and 'Go on Go' in 1980 encouraged them to try the music business full time in 1981. That same year they entered and won the Seagrams Regional Music Contest and represented WMAQ Radion Station of Chicago at the National Championship held in Nashville,Tennessee. Next came the release of two albums which were very well received regionally. In 1994 the Whiskey River Band released their latest album 'Shot of Whiskey.'
