Brahms by the Dozen: the Two Great String Sextets February 11, 2009

Manhattan School of Music presents 'Brahms by the Dozen: The Two Great String Sextets.' Performing will be Glenn Dicterow, Lisa Kim, Karen Dreyfus, Irene Breslaw, David Geber and Julia Lichten. The performance will include Brahms' two string quartets, No. 1 in B-flat Major and No. 2in G Major. Brahms' only two string sextets are considered the pillars of the chamber music repertory.
