Boys and Girls Club Family Night February 10, 2006

City of Elgin gang intervention specialist Joel Perez will speak on how to prevent your children from getting involved in gangs. Additionally, he will present information on how to recognize when your child might be getting involved with a gang and what community resources are available to combat these problems, as well as the harms of letting your children belong to such groups.

There also will be officers from the Elgin Police Department on hand to answer questions.
