Boy Scouts Of America Hosts 77th Annual Scout Fair April 13, 2013

"The Best Scout Fair on Earth" A FREE family fun-filled day. Scouts and leaders from 16 counties will unite in one place to share educational activities, games and demonstrate Scouting skills. Attendees can sample the amazing Dutch oven creations and other delicacies in the outdoor cooking area; celebrity judges will be selecting winners from noon-2pm. The Merit Badge Midway will feature over 80 experts representing the huge variety of Scout merit badges, including Asia Society (American Cultures), Bayou Land Conservancy (Forestry); Dinosaurs Rock (Geology); Houston Astros (Sports); Houston Zoo (Mammal Study); Memorial Hermann (Safety); Neighbors Emergency Centers (First Aid); Union Pacific (Railroading) and more. Families can also enjoy live entertainment from Scouting groups and others on the Center Stage. 20,000 people are expected to attend the FREE Scout Fair 2013.
