This evening hike will focus on exploring the bog in Glacial Park. What is a bog? What makes it different from other wetlands? We will answer these questions and more through hands-on activities and exploration. Please wear shoes that can get wet, and be prepared for a moderate hike.

Pre-registration is required for this program. Register at www.mccdistrict.org or call 815-479-5779. In addition, it does not take place at the Prairieview Education Center. The program location is Glacial Park in Ringwood Illinois. This program is for ages 8 and up and children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. This program will be cancelled if minimum registration is not met.
