Bouncing Betties Burlesque presents a Dance for Dan! May 22, 2010

Bouncing Betties sole mission in our shows is to give back to the community and to provide a helping hand. Since the birth of our little non-profit, we have had the great pleasure of teaming up with Lady D of Anti-Mag. Lady D has been a great supporter of Richmond burlesque, as well as a loyal sponsor of Bouncing Betties. She has worked tirelessly on promoting our shows and we are in turn there for her in her time of need.

Recently, Lady D's husband, was stricken with a blood clot in an artery in his brain stem which caused a stroke and left him almost completely paralyzed. There have been some signs of recovery and hope, but he remains hospitalized. He, like most full time musicians, has no health insurance and is facing a long road to recovery. Bouncing Betties is honored to dedicate our next show to Dan so that we can help contribute in the way we know how!

Join us Saturday, May 22nd at Gallery 5 (200 W. Marshall St., Richmond, VA). Doors at 8pm. Show at 9pm. $10 Admission. 18 and up.
