Help us celebrate our Americana Album of the Year nomination at our Holiday Skiffle at the Dairy Center for the Arts in Boulder. It's gonna be a ton of fun!
About the Skiffile: During the early days of the Harlem Renaissance, homeowners would throw a "skiffle" or a rent party to celebrate the end of the work week and raise the money to cover the rent. These parties always included music and dancing, and were integral to the rise of jazz, swing and blues in the urban city centers. We celebrate this long-lost tradition with a holiday meet and greet for all of the fans, friends and all the local musicians who are informal parts of our “Society.”
Bring a dish to share, money for the raffle and silent auction, and your dancing shoes.
Raffle and auction prizes include: a romantic dinner for two cooked by Chef Scott Higgins, a private concert by BAS, private music lessons, signed merchandise, a ukulele, gift certificates and much more.
