Bottle Buddies December 9, 2012

Could you create the next Pinocchio or Dancing Gangnam? Can you create a character from and everyday item? Students will create a 3D sculpture of a character of their choosing using recycled materials. Starting with a plastic water bottle, students will build up the shapes to create an armature then paper mache or plaster the "skin". When dry, they will summon their creativity to bring their character to life with paints, fabrics, wire and other materials. This will be followed by creative open studio time.
