Boston.com Running with the Bridesmaids September 29, 2012

The inaugural Boston.com Running with the Bridesmaids takes place on Saturday, September 29, 2012. Reach into the closet and pull out that bridesmaids dress—or other wedding finery and join your friends at Downtown Crossing for a one-mile fun run around the Boston Common to benefit the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston.
Prizes will be awarded for the Worst Dressed Bridesmaid, the Best Accessorized Bridesmaid and the Best Hair. Prizes include a trip for six to Las Vegas, courtesy of JetBlue Getaways and a sapphire and diamond pendant and matching earrings courtesy of the Jewelers Exchange Building.

Produced in partnership with the Downtown Boston Business Improvement District (BID), the run begins and ends in Downtown Crossing. The Boston.com Running with the Bridesmaids event is part of Celebrate Downtown Boston Week, which runs from September 23 – 30, 2012.
