This month's meeting will be held:
* On Tuesday, August 12th
* Located at Sermo [1], 215 First Ave, Cambridge
* From 7-9pm, but you can arrive after 6:30
### Agenda
We have one speaker lined up this week.
Wyatt Greene [2] will be presenting 'Ruby and the iPhone'.
This presentation is for Ruby and Rails programmers who are interested
in building software for the iPhone. It will cover:
* how to write Ruby on Rails web apps for the iPhone
* what it's like to write a native iPhone app in Objective-C from the
point of view of a Ruby programmer
If anyone is interested in giving a short lightning talk (5-10
minutes), please bring it up on the mailing list.
### Post-Event Activity
There's a distinct possibility several of Rubyists will hit up a local
watering hole, such as the Cambridge Brewing Company.
### Special Thanks
Many thanks go out to:
* Sermo for providing the venue, food, and drink
* Engine Yard [3] for donating a slice [4] for hosting bostonrb.org
