Crossover Cellist Matt Haimovitz to Perform with the Landmarks Orchestra under the Direction of Charles Ansbacher, Conductor
Who: Boston Landmarks Orchestra in partnership with the Harvard University Division of Continuing Education
What: French Romantics will feature guest soloist, crossover cellist Matt Haimovitz, who is as comfortable performing in a jazz club as he is on a concert stage, in an all French program with works by Bizet, Fauré, Rameau, Ravel and Saint-Saëns. This concert will also be performed on Wednesday, July 18 at 7 p.m. at the Hatch Shell on the Esplanade and Sunday, July 22 at 6 p.m. at Jamaica Pond.

Where: Sanders Theatre in Cambridge
Why: Conductor Charles Ansbacher founded the Boston Landmarks Orchestra in 2001 to perform free concerts celebrating historical, geographical and architectural settings.
