Boston Landmarks Orchestra will hold a special concert at Fenway Park in partnership with the Boston Red Sox and in association with Mayor Thomas M. Menino and the city of Boston. This historic partnership between the Landmarks Orchestra and the Red Sox is in honor of the orchestra’s 10th anniversary. The program for the concert will include Aaron Copland’s “Fanfare for the Common Man,” Gioachino Rossini’s “Barber of Seville,” Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy,” a composition by Julian Wachner titled “The Jackie Robinson Story,” and excerpts of songs from West Side Story written by Leonard Bernstein.
FREE tickets are required for admittance. You can download tickets by visiting www.redsox.com/familyfun (4 tickets per login). Tickets are also available at the Red Sox Ticket Office through July 6.
Entrance to the concert is through Gate B on the corner of Van Ness Street and Ipswich Street.
