Tonight, to celebrate both his birthday and the kick-off for his Bootie World Tour, DJ Tripp -- our favorite bootlegger from Santa Cruz -- will be doing a special video mashup set at midnight. House band Smash-Up Derby will even be doing a live version of a DJ Tripp mashup! In the upstairs room, DJ Matt Hite will be our special guest at Electro-Bootie, our monthly "club-within-a-club" featuring electro bootlegs, remixes, and covers. For the Midnight Mashup Show, Keri Hanna will be making her Bootie stage debut. And finally, at midnight we'll be giving away our exclusive, official mashup CD, "Bootie Mashes Up Lady GaGa." You can't get this special Lady GaGa CD anywhere else!

Launched in 2003, Bootie was the first club night in the United States dedicated solely to the burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup -- and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with monthly parties in six cities on two continents. Mixing and matching every conceivable musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party where everyone feels welcome, Bootie provides the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation -- with free mashup CDs given away like candy!

Resident DJs Adrian, the Mysterious D, and Dada keep your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations, celebrating -- and satirizing -- the many different forms of music. Live Bootie mashup band Smash-Up Derby always rocks the house at 11 PM. Guest mashup DJs from around the world are featured, and the infamous midnight mashup show showcases popular local drag and burlesque performers.
