Feeling sluggish and cooped-up after a long winter? We'll begin at Athleta UWS and then head over as a group to Central Park where certified nutritionist and founder of JG Fitness, Jennifer Giamo, will lead a 60 minute work-out that will get you energized for spring. Afterwards, she'll run a discussion on how to fuel your body for all types of fitness activity goals. She'll cover what and when to eat before, during and after a workout, how to nutritionally prep when you're training for a race or larger fitness goal, energy foods, ideal pre-exercise meals, and sports drinks vs. water.
