About the Event:

Author Daniel D. Mann will be joining us to read from his new novel “Dream of the Snake God.”

Have you ever fantasized about going on a tropical vacation and meeting the man of your dreams? Join Cory Davis, a young guy from Atlanta, whose happy holiday becomes a horrible nightmare! Witch doctors, voodoo curses, sharks, cannibals and a powerful homosexual religious order all play a part in this exciting adventure story! Come and hear Daniel D. Mann read from his book and talk about his own tropical adventures!

About the Author:

Daniel D. Mann graduated Phi Theta Kappa from a college in Atlanta, and then went on a quest for adventure leading him to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. There he dabbled in the arts, drank tequila, and ran with the bulls. He lives in San Francisco where he is currently working on his next nasty novel, a sequel to Dream of the Snake God.

Books Inc. is a locally owned and operated independent bookstore with 10 locations in California. Books Inc.’s origins date back to the Gold Rush days of 1851, when Anton Roman struck it rich in Shasta City, California and set himself up in business selling books. That small bookstore was moved, bought, sold, burned, rebuilt and renamed, and became Books Inc. as we know it today in 1946.
Today, with 10 stores and 200 employees, Books Inc. serves as a shining example that independent bookselling can survive and prosper, even if we must dance among the elephants.
This event is FREE at Books Inc. 2275 Market St., San Francisco, CA 94114
