Books for La Union! Story and Song with Carmen Deedy and John McCutcheon! July 29, 2008

Benefit performance by fabulous storyteller and author Carmen Deedy and famous folk singer John McCutcheon. FREE, but we will ask for a donation to support creating a library in the rural artisan village of La Union Tejalapan in Oaxaca state in southern Mexico. On exhibit and for sale will be reading figures carved by the wonderful artists of La Union, and a percentage of sales will also go to the library project. Donations are tax deductible.
