Booker T. Jones October 2, 2008

While in high school, Booker T. Jones penned the infamous "Green Onions", and his pen hasn't stopped writing. Nor has he stopped playing music. As a member of the Stax label house band, he wrote 6 more top 40 hits and appeared on some of history's most influential blues recordings. During the 70s, he produced a wide variety of important albums and artists, crossing genres without thinking twice. He’s worked with Willie, Withers, Coolidge and Klugh to name a few. Throughout his illustrious career, he continued to produce. Booker T and the MG’s also toured with Neil Young and was the house band for Eric Clapton’s 1991 Madison Square Garden Concert.
