The Tibetan Book of LIving and Dying, written by Sogyal Rinpoche. This book gives a comprehensive presentation of the teachings of Tibetan Buddism, exploring: the message of impermanence; evolution, karma and rebirth; the nature of mind and how to train the mind through meditation; how to follow a spiritual path in this day and age; the practice of compassion; how to care for and show love to the dying, and spiritual practices for the moment of death. Rinpoche writes, "What is it I hope for from this book? To inspire a quiet revolution in the whole way we look at death and care for the dying and the whole way we look at life, and care for the living."
This book study will continue until the book is completed.
