Author Daphna Ziman will be autographing her book The Gray Zone, which not only landed on New York Times' best-selling list, but is also currently optioned for a screen version in a film to come on screens soon. There will be a Q&A at the event with the author.
About the book:
Kelly Jensen was six years old when she witnessed the murder of her mother. Thrown into the foster care system, Kelly is exposed to a life no child should ever become a part of. Abused and neglected, she runs away at the age of fifteen, only to fall victim to a man she thinks will protect her and save her.
Kelly decides to take matters in her own hands to ensure her freedom and safety when the black and white world of the legal system lets her down. She dares to take down her husband alone. Enter the gray zone, the area where black and white blur, where right and wrong aren’t always what they seem.
Nibbles and libations will be served.
