Journalist Melissa Robinson reads from her new book, The Search for Canasta 404, a nonfiction narrative account of a Navy pilot who went missing off the coast of China during the Vietnam War, and his wife's emergence as a national leader in the POW/MIA movement.
The ongoing Dr. Kaung’s Salon series, held in the Space 7:10 gallery at Kefa Cafe, offers a safe, intimate space to talk about the things that interest and affect people. Kyi May Kaung, a poet and a political economist with an interest in international literature, activism and art, organizes and facilitates the series.
