The book won the Pulitzer Prize and the movie won Oscars. We will discuss the book first and then watch the movie.
Story synopsis: In rural America during the Depression, two children watch as their principled father takes a stand against intolerance, as he faces down great pressure to cease his legal defense of a falsely-accused black man.
