BOMB CITY synopsis
When five friends pull off what seem to be a "fool-proof" little heist, their world is turned upside down when a local thug discovers their secret and blackmails them for the loot. BOMB CITY delves into how quickly events can go from the thrills of a wrongdoing, to the tragic and senseless consequences of its poor choices, along the way attempting to entertain with its candid humor and unpredictable sequences.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Johnny Cabaddu
Johnny is a multi-media artist currently based in San Francisco's SOMA neighborhood. He is a long time supporter of local community arts organizations, such as Locus Arts and Bindlestiff Studios.

Johnny has a background in music videos and documentaries. He has worked on music videos under 400 Blows Pictures for Julie Plug, Drop 'n Harmony, Mistah FAB, and Orbital.

He has worked documentary, Masters of the Pillow, a documentary on Asian American Porn, and Record Man, which traces the history of the birth of America's Record Industry. He has also worked with local Director, Kevin Epps on Rap Dreams, the story of Three Aspiring MCs from the Bay Area trying to make it out of their impoverished upbringing through their "Rap Dreams".

BLACK EYED PEAS "BEBOT"

The creators behind LUMPIA and THE APL SONG music video team up once again with the Black Eyed Peas to visualize their current Filipino-themed song, BEBOT, off the multi-platinum album "Monkey Business". Prepare for the biggest party yet as BEBOT has been translated into TWO separate music videos entitled GENERATION ONE and GENERATION TWO. The record label has no current plans to air these videos so the producers are asking for your help in spreading the word. Here's your chance to watch it on screen rather than on the Internet.

GENERATION ONE
This music video is a historical trip back to 1936, Stockton, California. Apl.de.Ap is one of many Filipino farmers working in the asparagus fields. After work, all they look forward to is putting on their best suits and heading towards the Little Manila section of downtown Stockton. What they find there is a party for the ages at the Rizal Social Club. Yet Apl has other ideas as he sneaks out to another "party" next door. The Black Eyed Peas all appear with significant cameos from the Filipino American community.

GENERATION TWO
This modern version has the Black Eyed Peas picking up Apl.de.Ap to hit up one of the biggest Filipino American parties in town. The only problem is that Apl also has to bring his baby sister (Jasmine Trias) along for the ride. It's a celebration of everything HOT from hot cars, hot ladies, tasty BBQ, hype dances, to the hottest house party around. Featuring cameos galore from the Filipino American community.

"Save Bindlestiff"
Video pod about a Fil-Am theatre in the SOMA area in SF, and their efforts to raise enough funds to return to their former facility. Directed by Johnny Cabaddu.

"Oasis for Girls"
Video pod about a center for girls and young women located in San Francisco's South of Market neighborhood, providing year-round programming in arts and arts education, technology, leadership development, education, health, and life skills.
