Bolton's Armed Forces Day June 25, 2011

Everyone welcome to join the Mayor of Bolton at a special day on Victoria square starting at 11am with a short wreath laying ceremony to remember all those who perished during conflicts such as VE Day, VJ Day, Merchant Navy Day and other battles.

There's lots of activities including the Army's climbing wall, football, charity stalls, military vehicles, specialist cars, wartime memrobilia and much more!
Enjoy the annaul Cup Challenge between Bolton's Sea, Army and Air Cadets!

Come along and welcome the Commando Runners completing their fundraising run wearing 30lb backpacks and boots! Cheer on the police officers running in riot gear to raise monies for Help for Heroes! Show your support on this special day for all our servicemen and women.
