The event starts with a Drumhead Service followed by a flypast of a Chinook helicopter of 27 Squadron of the RAF, then we have a presentation of veteran badges to various ex-service personel. During the afernoon there are various music, military and local youth organisations displays. There is a rescue display by the RNLI in conjunction with a helicopter from the Coastguard Maritime Agency. The highlight of the event is a display by a Spitfire of the "Battle of Britain" Memorial Flight. There are also various static displays along with stalls, exhibitions and displays of various Service and ex Service welfare organisations.
