Gunther von Hagen’s BODY WORLDS 2, the internationally-renowned exhibition of real human bodies, is now on display at the Maryland Science Center for a limited engagement.
Visitors will learn about human anatomy, physiology and health by viewing more than 200 real human specimens, including whole-body plastinates, individual organs, organ configurations and transparent body slices preserved by the extraordinary process of plastination.
To date, nearly 20 million people around the world have viewed the BODY WORLDS exhibits. BODYWORLDS 2 is the largest temporary exhibit ever mounted by the Maryland Science Center.
Advance tickets for BODY WORLDS 2 are available now through the Maryland Science Center’s website at www.marylandsciencecenter.org. Admission to the exhibition is, in addition to regular Maryland Science Center entrance fee, $5.50 for adults and $4.00 for children ages 3–12.
