The band formed in 2005 while all five members were attending The National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music. After Bodegawinning the BBC Radio2 Young Folk Band award for their debut CD, the band has been quickly garnering acclaim and fans. The band includes Gillian Chalmers (pipes, fiddle, and whistle), Ross Couper(fiddle), Tia Files (guitar), Norrie MacIver (vocal, accordion, guitar, and djembe), and June Naylor (clarsachand piano). Bodega is a young five-piece band drawn from the highlands and islands of Scotland. Concert begin at 8 p.m. with doors opening at 7 p.m.
