February 4th – 6th the Hartford Funny Bone in Manchester, CT welcomes the one and only Bobcat Goldthwait. Armed with his unique voice and a keen eye for life’s absurdities, Goldthwait continues to pack comedy venues across the country.

Bobcat’s writing and directing accomplishments continue to grow including his dark cult comedy, “Shakes the Clown,” “Windy City Heat” and the romantic comedy “Sleeping Dog’s Lie”. In September 2009 Bobcat releases his 4th movie “WORLD’S GREATEST DAD.” The new film stars Bobcat’s long time friend Robin Williams. With a merciless acuity this nihilistic comedy ridicules collective grief and the news media’s cynical marketing of inspirational uplift after a death. –The New York Times “World’s Greatest Dad” overturns clichés of hypocritical sanctimony with surprising laughs. Bobcat has directed for many television shows including “Chappelle's Show”, the “Man Show”, and “Crank Yankers”. As a comic, he had 3 HBO specials and had appeared on the David Letterman show by the time he was 20, and has appeared in an innumerable slew of movies and was huge in the 80's, all of which has allowed him to live in an impossibly luxurious rental home in the Los Angeles area.
