Alley Pond Park
Liitle Neck/Douglaston, New York

Join Bobbi and the Strays in the walk to save homeless animals!
Mark your calenders for the second annual Walk 4 Paws! The walk will be an exciting event for both people and canines. We will be walking through beautiful Aley Pond Park and the actual walk is about a mile and a half. At the end of the walk, we will have goodie bags, microchipping, contests, and much more! Prizes will be awarded to the top individual fundraisers and the top fundraising pack.

You can walk as an individual or as a pack (two or more people) with your dogs on their leashes. You can also join the walk without a dog, or course!

Please visit the FirstGiving weblink - http://www.firstgiving.com/bobbiandthestrays - to register for the Walk 4 Paws. After you register you can create your own fundraising page and have your friends, family, and neighbors sponsor you to raise donations for our building fund. See the Firstgiving site to show you how to create your own page!

If you would like to register for the walk off-line, please contact our Adoption Center at (718) 326-6070 for instructions.

You may also download our sponsor form, from the FirstGiving site, if you would like to fundraise off-line as well - since some sponsors may want to donate in person.

Hope to see you there!!!!!

And if you can not join us but would still like to donate - GREAT! You can sponsor one of our walkers by visiting the Firstgiving site.

We thank you for your support!!!

Bobbi and the Strays believes that animals deserve our love, compassion, and respect. Our purpose is to undertake rescue operations and to provide essential care for orphaned, stray, abused and special needs cats and dogs. Through rehabilitation, socialization and adoption, we endeavor to provide a humane service to all animals that come into our care. Additionally we generate awareness in the community about the prevention of animal abuse and neglect as well as spay/neuter programs and their important effect on the dog and cat overpopulation crisis in New York City.
