ARF-ARF (Allied Rockaway Foundation for Animal Recreation and Fitness)is a community group of dog owners with an interest in serving the common needs and interests of the very large number of dogs and their loving companions who frequent the ARF-ARF Freeway Dog Park in Rockaway Queens, NY.
Bobbi and the Strays will be there with many of our adorable dogs for adoption- many different sizes, ages and breeds! Come and bring a friend or two and give a homeless animal the chance for a better life We and our animals thank you!
Bobbi and the Strays believes that animals deserve our love, compassion, and respect. Our purpose is to undertake rescue operations and to provide essential care for orphaned, stray, abused and special needs cats and dogs. Through rehabilitation, socialization and adoption, we endeavor to provide a humane service to all animals that come into our care. Additionally we generate awareness in the community about the prevention of animal abuse and neglect as well as spay/neuter programs and their important effect on the dog and cat overpopulation crisis in New York City.
