Bob Weir & Ratdog November 16, 2008

Greensboro’s War Memorial Auditorium will host Bob Weir and RatDog in concert on Sunday, November 16th at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, September 12th at 10:00 a.m. at www.ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets including participating area Lowes Foods locations and FYE and Macy’s stores, charge-by-phone at (336) 852-1100 or at the Greensboro Coliseum box office.

The November 16th date is Bob Weir and RatDog’s second Greensboro appearance and its first since March of 2007. The Grateful Dead (Weir is one of the legendary band’s original guitarists), has a storied history of playing in Greensboro, with five appearances at Greensboro Coliseum, including a two-night stint (3/31 – 4/1, 1991) that drew over 29,000 patrons. Weir also appeared in Greensboro as a member of The Other Ones, the post-Jerry Garcia incarnation of the Grateful Dead that performed at Greensboro Coliseum in September of 2000.
