Bob Seger is hitting the road in support of his latest album, “Face the Promise,” on his first concert tour since 1996. The Michigan native and his Silver Bullet Band kicked of the tour on November 8 in Grand Rapids, MI.
“Face the Promise,” which hit stores September 12, debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 album chart, marking Seger’s highest chart debut ever.

“It’s a pretty high-energy rock record,” Seger recently told USA Today. “I would say it’s more rock ‘n roll than usual. I wrote a lot of songs, a lot of songs. I probably recorded about 30, but the best songs happened to be more rock-leaning.”
Seger — a 2004 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee — has sold nearly 50 million albums in his career. Among his eleven platinum and seven multi-platinum awards, Against the Wind, Night Moves and Stranger in Town have each been RIAA-certified for over 5 million album sales in the U.S., as has his massively-influential 1976 breakthrough classic, Live Bullet.
